Sales Manager


The Sales Manager (Korea) is responsible for professional account and opportunity management and winning over new and existing customers within the assigned region.

Duties & Responsibilities

•Managing key client accounts to achieve/exceed assigned revenue objectives
•Identifying and targeting potential new business
•Consulting potential clients and upper management level with solution-oriented advice
•Demonstrating solutions in cooperation with the internal specialist departments and experts
•Analyzing the customer requirements and processes
•Conducting negotiations and concluding contracts with the customer
•Strategic account planning and execution within the assigned region
•Leading and overseeing the development of proposals, value propositions, alliances and contract negotiations with assigned accounts
•Conducting of follow-up with customers to ensure customer satisfaction with solutions
•Engaging the customer in new product/service development initiatives
•Using the CRM to document and maintain sales records
•Remaining knowledgeable of company's solutions to facilitate sales efforts

Desired Experience and Education

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with business or marketing related focus. Candidates with a degree in information & technology, library & information science with about 3 years work experience or equivalent work experience of 3-5 years’ professional library or related library and information management experience will be an added advantage.
•over 5 years of experience in sales, account management and knowledge about the Higher Education industry is a plus
•Experience in working in an international environment with a complex matrix structure
•Preferably experienced in working with a sales system based on competitive tendering (RFPs/RFIs)
•Experience in working with a CRM (preferably SFDC)
•Native in local language (Korean) and good in English language
•Exceptional customer focus and a passion for sales
•Strong communication and inter-personal skills
•Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality
•Excellent organizational skills
•Structured and goal-oriented way of working
•Excellent project management skills and deep marketing knowledge to steer and organize different internal and external cross-functional stakeholders.
