Ex Libris is seeking an Implementation Consultant (Software) to be based in Singapore. Ex Libris (a ProQuest Company) is the leading provider of automation solutions for academic and research libraries. With headquarters in Jerusalem, we have 12 locations globally.The Professional Services’ Implementation Consultant will join the Professional Services team responsible for implementing company’s library solutions across Asia Pacific including Australia and New Zealand.

Requirements:


Duties and Responsibilities
•Perform Ex Libris product configuration, based on customer’s requirements
•Analyze and troubleshoot customer issues and requests, provide first line support to customers during implementation cycle
•Interpret and understand customer requirements and workflows and translate into Ex Libris solutions
•Provide product training to customers, via Web-based or on-site training
•Review and contribute to training materials, implementation tools and documents used internally and by customers
•Coordinate extensively with other Ex Libris teams including Cloud Services, Installation, Support, Sales and Product Management
•Use defined procedures and systems to perform and document implementation tasks
•Contribute to the development and improvement of standard procedures as needed
•Perform system and data analysis as part of product implementations

Qualifications and Experience
•B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent qualification
•Preferably with M.S. degree in library/information science or other related fields
•Strong technical skills including experience with UNIX, Oracle, HTML, CSS, XML, networkingand authentication protocolsare preferred
•Background in library workflows/standards strongly preferred
•Previous experience working with Ex Libris products would be advantageous
•Customer service experience in a library or other business/technical setting is desirable
•Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
•Demonstrated ability to manage several complex tasks concurrently and meet deadlines
•Good interpersonal skills; must be a team player
•Excellent oral and written communication skills, including training ability
•Ability to learn new information quickly and keep up with rapidly changing products and processes
•At least 2 years’ relevant experience is required.
