Project Manager

Job Description:

The Project Manager, URM is responsible for successful (on time and within budget) customer implementations of allocated products .

Requirements:

Duties & Responsibilities
•Implement new product s in consultation with customers
•Develop workflows and configuration in consultation with customers
•Provide solutions for customer needs during implementation
•Manage all implementation projects within allocated product portfolio in accordance with company project methodology, and ensure on time and within budget delivery
•Liaise with stakeholders to determine hardware and software requirements
•Resolve implementation issues in consultation with customers and HQ support
•Serve as the central point of contact between the customer and Ex Libris China
•Promote, prepare and present training packages, consulting and other services for new and existing customers
•Assist with product queries, product demonstrations, tender responses, and sales opportunities.

Desired Experience and Education
•Bachelor’s degree or graduate diploma, in library and information management with about 3 years work experience or equivalent work experience of 3-5 years’ professional library or related library and information management experience
•Knowledge of and/or experience with digital collections
•Working knowledge of XML/XSL,MS Project and Unix is desired
